This award-winning fiber cement board clad building is a prominent fixture in the heart of downtown Toronto—its first housing co-operative in 20 years. Interlocking, contrasting volumes and voids create a sculptural and animated streetscape. The building is home to hospitality-industry workers and their families who were displaced due to the redevelopment of Regent Park. With a mix of residential and commercial use, the 11-storey building has 85-units of housing in the upper floors and roughly 3,000 sf of commercial space on the ground floor.

PICCO Engineering was the prime structural engineer at 60 Richmond.
