This comprehensive program consisted of a series of inspections to represent an accurate cross section of the building's major construction components. Included were inspections of soil, footings, foundation, framing, insulation, vapor barrier, exterior flashing and cladding, and interior finishes.

Design Challenges:
Timing was an important issue for this project - Picco Engineering had to ensure its recommendations could be integrated without negatively affecting the construction schedule. The site superintendent and building trades often dictated a "window of opportunity" in which Picco could conduct inspections and provide reports. To meet this scheduling challenge, Picco maintained close contact and coordination with all parties, which resulted in the delivery of a high quality inspection program.
Key success factors for this project were Picco's strong communications skills and flexible approach.
