CANADIAN MUSEUM OF HUMAN RIGHTS - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA
ANTOINE PREDOCK ARCHITECT PC   CLIENT: GRACOM

Highly anticipated completion is scheduled for 2012. This project has a $310 million budget. BIM software is proving invaluable in understanding and solving complex conditions. Back-lit Spanish alabaster cladding will hover over the huge Hall of Hope as part of a multistory ramp structure while imported basalt will dramatically define “the plug” reflection space and will be quarried and installed in its natural hexagonal shape. The building will be a LEED Silver Certified Building.

Please take a look at this article on masonry in Manitoba that includes some information and a picture for this project.
